APAC now Largest Ad Market in the World

2016 sees APAC overtake North America as the world’s largest market for digital advertising, with a total spend of $59.7bn.

This is reflected in a surge in visitor numbers from Asia to next month’s dmexco, the leading trade fair for digital marketing, taking place in Cologne.

Many Intralink clients will be attending or exhibiting at the show, looking to build their global footprint and take their business to the next level. Intralink’s head of Digital Media David Royer said: “As you would expect the rise of Asia is being driven by China which grew over 25% last year to become the 2nd largest single digital advertising market in the world behind the US.

"But Japan and South Korea are not far behind, which means a huge thirst from Asia for solutions that can help maximise ad revenues, optimise spend or leverage social media footprint. This part of the world is now impossible to ignore for western adtech companies looking to grow on a global level”
