BD - Internship (USA)

Responsibilities

• You will report directly to the VP, Business Development who will act as a mentor for the duration of the internship
• You will gain hands-on experience by working on a variety of research projects, including:
  • Reporting on sector-specific venture backed businesses to understand key metrics (company maturity and product readiness, funding history, international footprint, etc.)
  • Making initial outreach with the most interesting companies and joining Intralink staff with (virtual) sales calls to understand more about the prospect’s business, how Intralink could support, etc.
  • Supporting US team with commercial proposals to prospects
  • Reporting on new technology trends in the US including new technology hubs, notable incubators/accelerators, etc.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelors or master’s degree (or planned degree) in business, marketing, international relations, and/or technology/engineering (EE, CS, CE, etc.)
• Organized and self-sufficient
• Demonstrated interest in technology and business
• Broad understanding of technology trends across multiple verticals
• Ability to rapidly turn around projects
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Asian language ability or experience living or working in one of Intralink’s target N.E. Asian territories preferred
