The Business Development Initiative is a subsidised outreach programme that will allow you to identify and meet with qualified potential customers and partners in an APAC target market.

We will appoint an in-market bilingual business development team who will download your value proposition, undertake desk research, reach out to local targets, and facilitate online meetings to kick start commercial discussions.

Based on our research, feedback from local stakeholders, and meetings with your targets, we will provide a report with an assessment of the market opportunity and recommendations for your ongoing strategy.

We could even achieve a sales deal for you within the programme. For example, we delivered an exercise for satellite connectivity firm Wyld Networks which resulted in a contract for environmental monitoring company Novecom to deploy Wyld’s technology across Australia, starting with a large rural water project.

Bramble Energy – the world's only PCB fuel-based company – was chosen to receive support from the UK government to scale up their business in the APAC region.

We identified Korea as the right Asian market to explore due to its early adoption of HFCV technology.

We then kickstarted commercial conversations with Korea's top industrial and mobility companies, laying the foundations for Bramble to license their proprietary technology.

As a leading British innovator of speech-to-text solutions, Speechmatics was selected to participate in a 10-week business development initiatve led by Intralink Japan.

The maturity and global reach of Japan's broadcasters, content creators and technology conglomerates made it a natural choice for Speechmatic's next step in global expansion.

During the 10-week initiative, we arranged for several Japanese companies to evaluate the product through proof of concept trials.

Product:Silent, wearable breast pump

Target:Major distributors in Japan's mother and baby sector

Result:Distribution opportunities into large Japanese retailers

Intralink carried out an assessment into opportunties in Japan's mother and baby sector for silent, wearable breast pump company Elvie.

In spite of a falling birth rate, Japan's maternal and infant care sector is booming, with growing demand for high-end personal health and wellbeing products.

Intralink secured several immediate and long-term distribution opportunties, and supported Elvie with understanding the regulatory environment and product registration process.
