Kicking off the Year of the Rabbit

Kicking off the Year of the Rabbit

In 2022, our clients proved just how much can be achieved in Asia when you put your best foot forward.

As COVID restrictions were loosened in most Asian markets, even more business opportunities emerged. And we're proud to have helped secure some great sales, partnership and investment deals for western tech firms and government bodies alike.

So, now that we’re at the start of 2023, what will Asia's Year of the Rabbit mean for your business?

In Asian folklore, the rabbit symbolises sound reasoning, decisiveness and speed, and heralds a period of lucky breaks - factors that clearly mean a great deal when it comes to international business expansion.

We expect all Asian markets to continue providing valuable opportunities for western tech firms which can help them wrestle with their big societal challenges – including decarbonisation, ageing populations and digital transformation.

If we had to pick one market in particular, we’re looking to China in 2023.

As it eases its COVID measures, China’s massive and expanding markets – in healthcare, mobility, energy and much more – will re-open to western firms which can balance swift, decisive action with a smart, considered approach. You’ll hear much more from us on this in the weeks to come.

So, if Asian expansion is on your New Year resolutions list, don’t hesitate to get in touch to see if we can help.

Wishing you an intelligent, decisive and dynamic Year of the Rabbit!
