Will graduated from Sydney University with degrees in Science (Biochemistry) and Law. He practised as a lawyer with a large Sydney law firm before moving to Japan in 1997 where he worked for local government, and then an educational software company, where he was a director and co-founder. Since joining Intralink Will has developed in-depth experience across multiple sectors including telecoms, healthcare, automotive and retail.

He has worked with Japanese mobile network operators and system integrators in the successful deployment of femtocell-related technologies.

He has licensed in-car interconnectivity software, implementing a successful push/pull strategy by raising profile with the automotive OEMs to secure sales and licensing agreements with leading tier-1 suppliers.

In the biotech sphere Will has been responsible for introducing cutting edge US and UK biotechnologies to the Japanese pharmaceutical market. Will has also carried out market assessments for numerous medical device technologies and implemented Japan market entry strategies for leading western medical device manufacturers.

As the head of the Intralink IPR team, Will is responsible for licensing, patent acquisition and tech transfer projects across Asia. His clients include leading multinationals and he has closed a series of multi-million dollar agreements for clients with Japanese OEMs.
