What you'll be doing
As BD Manager, you’ll be identifying targets, building relationships, developing proposals and closing deals for Intralink. You’ll be doing this through emails, calls, F2F meetings, events and trade show visits.
You’ll be engaging with the Singapore branches of western firms, plus their HQ counterparts. You’ll aim to understand their growth plans for overseas markets, particulary in Northeast Asia (Japan, China Korea, Taiwan) & India and discuss how our in-market business development support, research and innovation services can accelerate their expansion plans. You’ll also be engaging with your clients post-sale.
You’ll often be talking to APAC VPs, GMs and CTOs. You don’t need a deep technical background, but you should be able quickly to grasp the commercial and technical value propositions of companies across a range of high-growth sectors including software, electronics, renewables, medtech & life sciences and others.
You’ll have a suite of tools at your disposal – from Sales Navigator and Salesforce CRM to a library of company decks and templates – as well as the day-to-day support and collective experience of your colleagues.

What you'll need
- A genuine interest in technology, sustainability and international business – to pitch Intralink’s services confidently and passionately
- 3+ years of sales/BD experience, ideally in relevant technology sectors such as software, electronics, cleantech, medtech & life sciences, or other – to bring your own contacts to the job
- Excellent spoken and written English – to understand the intricacies of your prospects’ businesses and work your pitch into an impressive proposal
- Experience of building an initiative from the ground up, with demonstratable results
- The ability to work independently while being very much a part of a team
- A university degree in business, management, or in a technical/engineering field
- Currently based in Singapore with right to work here
- Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of markets in NE Asia and/or India – to better relate to your prospects’ overseas growth objectives
- An understanding of the Singaporean international expansion support ecosystem and innovation environment – to collaborate with additional partners and further expand your network
