Soyeon heads our Aerospace & Defence Practice, coordinating a global team of specialists who help western companies in the sector to develop and implement Asia expansion strategies.
Based in Seoul and a specialist in Korean national defence policy, Soyeon oversees our Asian business development programmes for innovators in fields including aerospace, defence, drones, smart cities and robotics. In Korea, she has secured partnerships with national players including conglomerates Hanwha and LIG Nex1, as well as various system integrators and government organisations.
Before joining Intralink, she worked for Israel Aerospace Industries for four years, promoting its state-of-the-art defence systems to the Korean government and building close relationships with industry, government and the armed forces.
Born and raised in Busan, Korea, Soyeon received her BA in Global Studies & Political Science from Pusan National University and spent a semester as an exchange student at Australia’s University of Adelaide. Prior to that, she helped to set up the Korea operations of The Economist Corporate Network.
