NextRise 2025: showcasing global innovation in the heart of Seoul

Last week, we exhibited at NextRise 2025 – South Korea’s premier innovation and startup exhibition – for the third consecutive year. Held in Seoul, the event brought together over 150 multinational corporates, VCs and forward-thinking startups from around the world.

This year, we represented four global tech companies making strategic moves into the Korean market: Innatera, a Dutch developer of low-power neuromorphic processors, novosound, a Scottish manufacturer of flexible ultrasound sensors, Solids Sands, a Dutch provider of C/C++ compiler testing tools and Matter, an Indian startup building electric motorbikes and energy storage solutions. With Korean corporates actively seeking cutting-edge technologies and global partnerships, the timing was ideal for these innovators to gain traction and build meaningful relationships.

Over the course of the two-day exhibition, we arranged over 35 meetings with leading Korean corporates and investors, helping our clients explore strategic opportunities in the market. We also hosted our Teatime with Tech networking session, which offered a relaxed environment for visitors to connect with our clients and learn more about us.

A major milestone for us this year was securing our first-ever main stage speaking slot at the event. Dennis Hwang, Senior Project Manager from our Seoul office, delivered an insightful presentation to a packed audience on market-entry strategies for foreign startups entering Korea, alongside our broader go-to-market approach for Southeast Asia. His talk provided valuable perspectives on how Korean companies – and the global startups they collaborate with – can successfully navigate and leverage opportunities across the wider regional tech ecosystem.

NextRise is a major event in the tech innovation calendar – and if you're looking to grow in Asia Pacific, it should be on your radar. 25,000+ attendees and 500+ exhibitors make it a golden opportunity to gauge the trends and landscape of Asia’s rapidly evolving tech scene. And, of course, it’s a window into one of the world’s most dynamic and developed markets. See you there next time?
