Client stories
Packaged food products
Lim Kee, a leading Singaporean manufacturer of Chinese filled steamed buns, appointed us to help them expand into the Philippines. The main challenge was to engage the right retail and distribution partners with cold chain capabilities, serving the mid-to-high end market.
We identified over 30 companies meeting the client’s criteria and initiated partnership discussions with 12, including most major retail chains in the country. Within six months of project completion, Lim Kee’s products were available on the shelves of Landers Superstore, a fast-growing membership-based big-box retailer.
Water treatment solutions
We supported Ohio-based Aqua Science with its market entry into the Philippines. It's a leading manufacturer of bioluminescent reagents and luminosity test meters for water quality testing – with its solutions delivering results in just 20 minutes, compared to the 5–7 days required for conventional laboratory-based water toxicity tests.
We identified over 25 key providers of laboratory and environmental solutions in the Philippines. After our client shortlisted these companies, we arranged meetings with six of them. As a result, our client appointed Brownstone, a major Philippine-based supplier of laboratory, analytical, and material testing equipment, as its distributor in the country.
Infectious disease diagnostic products
We assisted TechLab, a leading Virginia-based developer and manufacturer of infectious disease diagnostic products, in identifying partner distributors for its infectious disease test products in Thailand.
Our client shared its ideal partner profile, emphasising the need for a distributor with strong expertise in clinical microbiology and established relationships with hospital laboratories. Based on these criteria, we organised one-to-one meetings with shortlisted candidates, enabling our client to appoint Biomedia, a provider of medical devices, laboratory equipment, and diagnostics in Thailand as its distributor in Thailand.
