Intralink wins prestigious Queen’s Award

We’re proud to announce that Intralink has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise — for success in the field of international trade.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise recognise “outstanding achievements by UK businesses” in overseas trade, innovation, sustainable development and social mobility. Established in 1965 by Royal Warrant, they’re the most prestigious official accolades for UK companies.

Our Award will be presented in our Oxfordshire headquarters by one of the Queen’s Lord-Lieutenants. We’ve also been invited to a Royal Reception at Buckingham Palace to meet Her Majesty The Queen.

To compete in the category of International Trade, we had to showcase our history, our vision and what sets our company apart.

This involved a rigorous process to prove we’ve achieved “outstanding continuous growth over the last six years” and that we practise strong corporate social responsibility through our support for charities.

We explained our distinctive approach of not just developing market expansion strategies for our clients but playing a hands-on role in building their businesses overseas.

We outlined the breadth of countries to which we’ve provided our services. In 2016/17 alone, these included Germany, France, Finland, Israel, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Thailand.

Greg Sutch, Intralink CEO, commented: “We’re thrilled to have won such a significant accolade. It’s a wonderful recognition of our distinctive approach and the talent and hard work of our employees. It’s also an endorsement of the close relationships we have with our clients and the results we’ve managed to achieve together over the years.

We’re all immensely proud of this Award — and looking forward to telling the Queen more about Intralink later this summer!”

Greg Clark, Secretary of State for Business, said: “The UK has some of the most entrepreneurial and innovative minds in the world delivering jobs, growth and greater choice for consumers and I’m proud to see these businesses being recognised.”

Her Majesty The Queen has commented: “The Awards are widely recognised as a highly valued mark of excellence, across many sectors, in a diverse and competitive business market.

“Having watched the Awards established in my name grow in stature and influence, I continue to be impressed by the way they have given opportunity to big organisations and small, enabling them to project themselves on the world stage using an internationally recognised symbol of excellence. I hope that their success will help future generations and inspire many other businesses to follow their example in the years to come.”
