Leadership

Zhao Le
Since joining Intralink, Zhao has worked with numerous clients to identify and secure deals and partners across multiple sectors including consumer electronics, telecoms, medical device, RTLS, retail design and sports equipment. Zhao heads our FDI initiatives in China. She has successfully conducted investment site surveys for US investors, investment promotion initiatives for EDOs from the US and MENA regions. She has also acted as interim general manager for MNCs’ China entities.
Zhao Le has a degree in Marketing from Dalian University and an MA in Business Management from Kingston University in the UK. She enjoys rock climbing, indoor and outdoor. She is fluent in English and based in our Shanghai office.

On-chip debug
UltraSoc needed immediate sales presence on the ground to capture the growing opportunity in China for its on-chip debug tools.
Intralink targeted major players who were either developing highly complex chips or working on RISC-V core-based designs. Targets included HiSilicon, Spreadtrum, Phytium, MediaTek, Realtek, Sanechips, and Horizon Robotics - companies that UltraSoc had yet to engage with.
This direct sales approach resulted in successful licensing deals, including HiSilicon, and formed the basis for Ultrasoc to establish its own entity in the territory.
Car parts
Teconnex appointed us to understand the commercial opportunities in China and secure customers to underpin potential investment in a local manufacturing plant.
We met all the key target customers and we developed a business strategy, including detailed revenue targets and an outline of what it would take to achieve significant sales. In parallel to executing the strategy, we identified, vetted and negotiated commercial terms with a JV manufacturing partner.
We signed several long-term supply deals worth tens of millions of dollars, helped the JV hire a General Manager and Head of Sales, and continue to support the JV in an advisory role.
Life sciences
German life sciences firm biotechrabbit appointed us to drive its expansion in China.
We engaged 79 Chinese companies — including IVD manufacturers, life science distributors and diagnostic service providers - to qualify potential distributors and industrial customers.
After a roadshow with biotechrabbit’s CEO to meet the 20 most promising candidates, we finalised a market and channel strategy, helped appoint distributors for northern, central and southern China and have continued to manage our client’s partners and win sales for the firm.
