The UK Government’s Department of International Trade (DIT) has published our final two Korean market intelligence reports. These address the opportunities for western companies in South Korea’s Internet of Things (IoT) and information security sectors. You can download free copies from the DIT web site as below.

The DIT is holding a London event on 13 November to launch these reports and explore the openings for British firms in these cutting-edge tech fields, which form the core pillars of South Korea’s fourth industrial revolution.

The publication of our latest reports follows the Government’s release of our intelligence reports on Korea’s data analytics and artificial intelligence markets. All four studies build on our broader work to help western companies expand in these sectors in Korea, China and Japan.

Each report includes an overview of the market, the opportunities for western companies, the challenges to overcome and the steps you should take.

Event details:

The event, titled ‘Tech opportunities in South Korea,’ takes place from 3pm to 4.30pm on Tuesday 13 November, followed by networking over light food and drinks.

It’s at techUK, 10 St Bride Street, London EC4A 4AD.

Jonathan Cleave, MD of our Korea office, will be speaking and taking questions on the business opportunities for British firms in Korea’s AI, data analytics, infosec and IoT markets.

Also speaking will be senior representatives of techUK, the DIT and KOTRA — Korea’s official trade and investment agency.
