We’re glad to have secured a commercial deal in China for Innatera, the Dutch pioneer of neuromorphic AI technology which mimics the human brain, with China’s Joya.
Xiamen Joyatech Co., Ltd – popularly known as ‘Joya’ – becomes Innatera’s first Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) customer in China. The companies will now work together to create a new generation of consumer electronics including IoT, smart home and lifestyle devices.
Founded in 2003 with headquarters in China’s Fujian Province, Joya has a global footprint and a track record of delivering products – from concept to mass production – for multinational electronics and consumer brands including Bosch, Procter & Gamble and Honda. The company has a particularly strong reputation for developing smart edge devices including smart baby cots, smart furniture and smart exercise machines.
Unlike traditional chips that rely on heavy data processing, Innatera’s neuromorphic technology handles real-time sensor data at speed and with minimal energy consumption. Through the new collaboration, Joya will integrate this tech into devices to enable ultra-efficient, lightning-fast AI computations.
Our China team has been driving Innatera’s market expansion in China and Taiwan since April, with this agreement the latest outcome of our work to engage ODMs and OEMs across the region who are eager to collaborate with cutting-edge international AI innovators.
We’re looking forward to seeing the fruits of the collaboration with Joya and helping Innatera to continue making waves across the region.
