Engagement kicked off at NextRise in Seoul
US virtualisation software company Terragrit has appointed us to support its expansion in South Korea. Our long-term business development programme began at the NextRise expo in Seoul last week, where the company met its first Korean potential customers and partners.
Founded in early 2025 with global growth ambitions, Terragrit has developed a software platform that enables organisations to create virtual models of warehouses, factories and other physical environments. This allows them to test changes and forecast outcomes before implementing them in the real world.
Its technology is used across manufacturing, defence, shipbuilding, retail and food and beverage, helping businesses improve planning, optimise operations and reduce risk. The company has built an impressive early customer base including Siemens, Samsung, Renault, Honda and the US Navy.
While Terragrit has already been expanding across Asia, this is its first move into South Korea, which the company has identified as an important market because of its advanced industrial base and the strength of its focus sectors.
Korean businesses are investing in digital transformation and technologies that improve efficiency to combat labour shortages stemming from an ageing population and declining birth rates. Backed by government support for innovation and a strong culture of technology adoption, the nation is an attractive environment for simulation and virtual testing technologies.
Our business development programme for Terragrit has just kicked off at NextRise in Seoul, one of Asia’s foremost innovation events bringing together startups, corporations and investors. Our high-profile stand provided an ideal opportunity to introduce Terragrit’s technology to the Korean market, while we also organised match-making meetings for our client and a speaking opportunity for Terragrit’s Chief Strategy Officer, Arthur Li (pictured below), on the show’s main stage.

In the long-term sales programme that now follows, our Seoul team will be seeking sales deals for Terragrit with major corporations across Korea’s industrial, automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace and defence sectors, as well as partnerships with tier 1 systems integrators.
Terragrit’s Arthur Li said: "As we continue expanding across Asia, South Korea stood out as a natural next step for us. The country’s strong industrial base and focus on innovation make it an exciting market and we’re looking forward to building commercial relationships there.
“We chose to work with Intralink because of its experience helping international tech companies grow in Korea and its deep understanding of the market. And NextRise was a great place for us to begin our first customer conversations."
